This question comes at a good time...I have a chance to buy a 2008 Aurora Elite at a good price and would be interested to hear any opinions on the Jamis Aurora models. (Not that I need another bike)
That said, I have heard some very positive things from owners of the Surly LHT. I don't think you'd go wrong with either choice.
