That is wonderful! What a great program. And a great article. Thanks for sharing it (and writing it).

I got my article published in the latest issue of Momentum bike magazine!
http://www.momentumplanet.com/duet-bike-program
It's about the Duet Bike Program for transporting the wheelchair bound by bike.
I believe other programs do exist in the U.S. Any of you live in a city/work in a facility that has such a program?

Great article, congrats!
That's fantastic (both getting published, and the program)!
I enjoyed doing the interview, article, etc.
The cyclist insisted I try being a passenger. Ok...so I did. Will write a complementary addendum blog wee article on this experience in a few wks. Believe me, understanding the sensation of being a cyclist on the road and being accustomed to the outdoor elements alot, might be very important so that one can enjoy participating in such a program in the (far) future.
The gentleman in the wheelchair was a former Easter Seals worker for their outdoor camp programs before he had a heart stroke which left him abit disabled permanently. Yes, once upon a time, he too was an cyclist.

Just realized my Momentum subscription expired and they didn't notify me...
I could stand being a senior citizen if it was like that. I'd love to volunteer at that kind of program. How fun!
