The headline on Google today was something about a snow hurricane set to hit the east coast. Yikes. Even with snow shoes, I'm thinking that's stay-inside weather.

I have two tennis rackets you can have for free, Zen, so long as I get to take a picture of you using them as snowshoes.![]()

Getting in touch with my inner try-athlete.
Well, it's more like a nor'easter here. Maybe they said hurricane because we might get snow thunder. It's going to rain even more today, even in western MA, where they had 16 inches of snow. Lots of worries about flooding right now and roofs with snow giving way with the heavy rain.
Praying there's still snow up at Windblown. Their site says it will be a great weekend and that they have plenty of snow to groom, even with the rain...
We got about 30 inches of wet, heavy stuff yesterday, and more snow, sleet, and freezing rain is forecast for tonight and tomorrow. Yikes!

We've had 118 inches of snow this year (yes, that is almost 10 feet) so far and more to come this weekend!
Oh joy!
Holy cow. I have a storage shed on my balcony that's about waist-high. I keep my mountain bike in it. And a huge gust of wind just moved it about 2 feet. And ripped the side panel off. Yikes.

This morning, I could smell spring in the air! The sun is bright and warm...
There is absolutely no snow here. It's rained and flurried, but that's it.
I was standing in our driveway just moments ago....the snow is receding and the mulch and bushes are starting to show.
And....
Popping their sleepy heads up above the ground....the first of the daffodils are starting to show!Just about an inch showing so far.....but they're-a-comin!
7 --- our tulips are coming up, too. In the fall, we planted 150 bulbs (dark purple and pink). I can't wait!! Tulips are my favorite.
The deer love our tulips, too!!!
Yummy deer-candy...just like the day lilies.
Once the snow recedes off of our tulips, we'll see what their status is. Time to head to Home Depot for a fresh gallon of Deer Off.
