I walked down the trail a bit and it looked like it had been skiied and walked. I wish I had thought of it sooner. The trail is only five minutes away but now it's getting up into the 40's.

So I'm still hoping for that one last snow

I just read that they're planning to plow the WOD this week. They said that their policy is to leave the trail unplowed for a while for xcountry skiers, then they plow down to 1 inch and let the rest melt.

    More Snow Oh No!

It snowed all day yesterday, only had about 4 inches yesterday morning to shovel and then nothing stuck, but it blew snow around and snowed and sleeted and just basically looked yucky all day!

Woke up to about another 4-6 inches this morning and it has been snowing ever since and sticking; so who knows? It is supposed to snow through the evening and then we get a break for perhaps a day and a half!

    I'm tired of this already!

That's great news. I thought the snow on the W&OD wouldn't fully melt until April at this rate. There are LOTS of fallen trees on the trail, so that'll be a challenge for the folks doing the plowing.

I noticed today that the W&OD trail has been plowed, just in time for a fresh dusting of snow tomorrow night. Looks like a lot of the fallen trees have been moved as well. Progress is being made ... yes!

I'm so SICK of snow! We had a snow day this week, but what we really need is a snow week! Driving a school bus in it is becoming extremely tedious!

    Talking

My husband was watching the news and saw that we have had the most snow in the country for the year - 118 inches! that is 9.83 feet nana nana nana!

Yeah, like I really want to have that distinction! I'm so tired of snow

Spoke - My heart goes out to you. I bet it's gotten to the point where you say, "oh, we're only getting six inches of snow tonight, no problem."

I was boggled yesterday when they started trucking away some of the snow piles on the side of my street... They were half melted or more already... why bother at this point?
