    some sort of audio system...

I'm looking for some kind of system where my husband and I can communicate with each other on a ride when we get too far apart to talk to each other or have to ride single file. I don't want to have to push any buttons though, and it has to fit with my bike helmet. Ideas or suggestions anyone?

Check with a snowmobile supplier. I know they make these for that purpose (or motorcyles). Not sure if they would work with bike helmets though.

Me? I don't think this would be a good option, 'cause then he would hear me cursing at him on our rides .

Yelling. Really loud. Works for us.

I don't think any wireless device works without button pushing of some sort.
We have an agreement, because both of us ride at different speeds at different times...get out of eyesight, wait or circle back. And we both take our cell phones for emergencies.

The FRS systems can be voice-activated. Kenwood and Motorola both used to make good ones.

Thanks- I will look into some of these suggestions. We have been doing the shouting really loud thing, but we scare people out in their yards, and I have the kind of voice that if I scream on one roller coaster my voice is completely gone for a week. And it just isn't any fun NOT screaming on roller coasters! Sorry, ADHD here.
