I work in a building, for a company that is not very popular around these parts - according so some it's our fault the city flooded due to Hurricane Katrina. Anyway, my office sits on top of the Mississippi River levee, and has been shot at - there is nothing between the street and the building but the industrial belt railroad. Most of us have considered that if someone really wanted to do damage, they'd stop a train and blow that up, as I see chemical cars roll past on a daily basis. Sometimes it's real comforting to have an office window on the city side of the building next to the railroad.
Prayers to the family of the saddened man in Austin. He's left them homeless, and the national memory that he was deeply disturbed. And prayers for the innocent victims of his deeds, may their wounds heal quickly.
