    I had a cupcake earlier

Mr. Bobcat saw me trying to dig out the mailbox and came to the rescue once again.

Yay, Zen, for Mr. Bobcat! Should we be tying him up and throwing him into your tent, or do you have that already covered?

I wanna ride my bicycle!!!! Over 4 feet of snow here between the two storms. I've done 20 hours of shoveling since Saturday, but no riding in 8 days. I'm starting to have bicycling dreams! Tomorrow I'm going to order studded tires for my Crosscheck, which will of course assure that there will be no more snow! Pictures from Wednesday afternoon here while it was still snowing. That's four board fence, almost 5 foot high! It's a good thing the snow stopped when it did. My horses would have been very confused when their fence disappeared!

I drove down to NC on Friday to have my race snowed out on Saturday. It melted by afternoon, so I went for a ride, which was nice. Sunday's race ended early with pothole-induced mechanical problems . Oh well.

I also wanted to cry when I went to buy groceries today and it started snowing again. Even though it wasn't sticking.

And it already stopped. So maybe we can be happy until the next snow storm? (Sorry to hear about your race cancellation).

Another band is supposed to come through later tonight, although it's expected to be minor (as in 1").

It looks like we've got at least a week or so of decent weather for melting and cleaning up.

And we're almost 2 months past the shortest day of the year.

Is your avatar a new photo from your race? I hope your bike is OK.
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...
