The shoveling wasn't nearly as bad today as last time.

No, and the sun is really strong today, so it helps with the clearing efforts. We cleared the driveway and walk earlier, and there are many dry spots already. DH and I are going to head out - despite the fact that our street is unplowed, many have driven down it, so it's passable. The Audubon Nature Center is open - we need to stock up on birdseed! They done cleared us out!

Zen, it sounds like the Tuesday/Wednesday storm really socked you up there! Hope you are doing ok. The sun is working some magic here but we have yet to see a plow.

I've dug out the sidewalks and the car and the driveway and the deck. On to the back door and the downspouts. I knocked some snow off the roof while I was on the deck. Maybe I could leave the backdoor - but somehow I just think that 4 feet of snow melting against the back wall of the house & door might be asking for it.
I guess my break is almost over.

I spent 2.5 hours shoveling earlier. I dug out my car and then helped 2 neighbors dig out their cars. As I was helping my one neighbor, 7 and her DH drove by. They stopped to chat but since my 2 lane street is now only one lane, there was a car behind them so they had to leave.
I am tired. I have that foggy head feeling - where I feel as if I cannot focus. Maybe I should get off of my work e-mail for fear that I send out an e-mail that I may regret later?
I'm going to hop on the trainer for a while. What else is there to do?
