... it can be bitter, depending on the soil composition, age of the leaves, growing temperature and humidity...
But it needn't be bitter. Different varieties have different flavors (curly kale, black/lacinato kale, red Russian kale). I think it's almost always stronger than chard though.Speed comes from what you put behind you. - Judi Ketteler
