I didn't watch the game (no TV) but I looked at the score updates. It's a good day for my family! Whoo-hoo!

The city went absolutely WILD last night.Fireworks, people honking horns. Drove by a fire house on my way home, the engines were out, lights flashing, the guys waving at the cars, cars honking horns in return. It was happily insane. Almost every intersection where I had to stop, people were tooting their horns - and we generally don't honk horns around here. The Saints practice facility is near my neighborhood, and it was darkened last night. But I'm certain, the markee will change today.
By the time I got to my neighborhood (45 minutes post game) it was calmed down.
Next scheduled party is the Saints Parade on Tuesday. There'll probably be Saints themed throws from the Carnival floats for the remainder of the season. Things will finally calm down on Ash Wednesday.
The city really needed this. Sorry to Indianapolis, but we really needed this. Bless you Boys.![]()

Congratulations, Saints! I was in San Francisco when Dwight Clark caught "the catch" and you could hear and feel the city erupt. I suspect it was much the same with that interception at 3 minutes left.
Well done. Enjoy the party.![]()

I am so happy that they won and the fans who came to this town were a big help. Everywhere I looked at the airport were New Orleans colors, a group effort with a great outcome! Who dat?
Congrats Saints! Y'all had me worried that first quarter...
