think one of the things that really helped is sometimes my trainer would have me do "jumping pull ups". I would stand on a step and jump and pull myself up over the bar. I think it sort of trained my arms to do the motion."
Thanks for the hint! I will try that- might have to wait for another trip to the gym as my pull up bar at home seems a little sketchy for that
