5.15 mile run with DH this morning - it was 18 degrees and for some reason, this slows me down! My feet in VFFs felt very slappy and hard even though I was trying to keep my cadence up. It's downgrade all the way down to the river to the turnaround point and then upgrade, maybe 3% - pretty much all the way home. It took us 53 minutes. After Sunday's faster long run I was kinda hoping my slow days were done.
Anyhow I punished myself by making me ride the mb down to the bus, and then back home tonight. There.
Also, did Pilates last night and she had us working hamstrings, so that might have had something to do with the slowness. Maybe.
