Intro of me...

Hey all. I haven't really biked much, but my hubby is super into it and I am starting to catch the bug. We are currently looking for a bike for me (DH has 3, but they aren't my size... go figure). I'm sure I will be asking questions in here quite a bit. I am actually excited to get my own bike.

Welcome! My DH also got me hooked! I think that must be quite common, as it's kind of a male dominated sport (at least around here )

I just got my first bike which is a flat bar road bike. When I first started I actually rode my son's bike for a bit, it was an MTB, and I was kind a being pushed into getting an MTB for myself, but I resisted as I couldn't see myself really getting into MTBing. I'm really glad I got more of a road bike as this is more my scene.

So I guess what I'm saying, is get what YOU want!!!

Welcome to the forum. My husband actually got me into the sport back when we were dating. We have been able to share many great rides together since. It a wonderful sport and I'm sure you'll love it even more when you get a bike that fits! What kind of biking are you into right now, road our mountain?

I am actually in search for a road bike right now. I've just ridden my hubbie's roadie in the past and am just now getting excited about it (just in time for winter to settle in ).
