TxDoc- you are correct.
I used to work at an LBS that carried Pinarello. They are made more for comfort. Plush ride, not the stiffest bikes. You can get a lot more for your money with another company.(say Jamis as an example).

They are pretty bikes and you pay for the name and the look of them. If you want an aggressive,stiff, responsive bike-look elsewhere.
If you want a pretty, unique bike that will be comfy for your rides-go for the Pinarello.
