    Hi TE'ers,

Typically, I won't try to direct you to my business or blog here, as I assume it is not good forum etiquette, and, frankly, isn't why I am here. However, occasionally, there is a special project that is worth sharing, if only for the story and aesthetic benefits:
....this frameset just came back from my amazing powdercoaters at Spectrum, and the story connected to the finish--as well as the finish!--is worth sharing. (Plus it is a shameless plug for my powdercoaters, as they are magicians with powder and take good care of me).
    Take a peek:

What a beautiful frame and heartwarming story. Many thanks to Marisa and all our servicemen and women for their service, dedication and sacrifice and thanks to you, Margo, for sharing it.

As a military parent, I am awed by this story.
    And a great bike, too!

I love the top tube! It's a beautiful bike, which is not surprising since it's a Luna.

Wishing Marisa a safe tour and upon her return, many happy miles on her beautiful steel Luna.

Wow-to the frame, the powder, and the story. I wish Marissa a safe return.

Your frames are gorgeous, Margo. I met the people from Spectrum at NAHBS last year. Their work is positively gorgeous in person, and they were incredibly nice.

    Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful story behind the pictures on the frame! I love that it's so personal - and I love that there are so many talented, brave, committed women in cycling communities around the world that are making their bikes and passion for cycling their own special and meaningful journey.

It is always good to read a thread and be left with a daft smile on your face.

Oh I so love the frame and the sentiment behind it all. The work that has gone into that frame must have taken forever.

    Thanks for sharing.
