Wanna go high tech? We got the Delicious Library software that lets you catalog your home library (plus other things--we put a lot of our videos on there)--you hold the UPC code up to your webcam and it pulls up the information about the book and puts it on the "shelves" of your library (looks eerily like the screen shots I've seen of the iPad iBooks software). When you loan something out, you just drag the picture of the book to your friend who borrowed it (pulling the friend info from your address book) and that keeps track of who has what and for how long.

Hmmm. Apparently it's only available for Macs. There's a refreshing change! But it really is cool software.
