I want to add my condolences as well. I'm sure you are going to remember your friend for all of the good times you shared, and he must have been a special person in your life. I hope you can cherish those memories and do a kind deed or action in his name to keep his name and spirit alive.
When one of my band members died a few years ago,as the result of a tragic and sudden accident, I was devastated. He was a dear friend, and as close as family. That was when I learned how important kind words can be in coping with a loss.
Hugs to you-
Sharon
What a beautiful tribute for a special friend. Perhaps he will be in the breeze that caresses your cheek as you ride the long stretch of road.
Thank you everyone.
I am so thankful for all my friends and loved ones and I am reminded to not take them for granted. The time we assume we have isn't promised us, we must make the most of what we have. We should hold dear to the ones we love, like an anchor in the stormy seas of life. I thank you for helping be an anchor. Even though I haven't met you all, you have been so nice, so warm and welcoming. This means a lot.
Sundial: I did take a ride the other day with my partner on the trail we have here that runs by a creek. As the fading light sparkled and faded and the creek rushed and swirled - the breeze cool and crisp - I thought of him. I smiled. He would've thought it was a "great day for riding." It was a much warmer day than we've had before it or since. I know he was with us on that ride. I am grateful that wonderful people exist and that I've had the good fortune to find them.
