    I got my road bike!

Off I went to Redwood City yesterday to get a Trek 1500. The 43 was to short, the 47 was to big. So I bought the 2100 c since they had it in a 45.

It's so nice! If my gut weren't protesting today, I have gone for a ride but alas. Next week I'll do the Iron Horse trail with my team. Yaaay!! I have a road bike!

wooohooooo! That is a beauty! So tell us more... what components etc on it? Is it a WSD bike or mens? (I'm assuming WSD from the paint, but ya never know since our pro football team now wears that very color! )

can't wait to hear about your first ride!

    It's a WSD....

Trek 2100c. I put a Shimano Flightdeck on it. It's all of 45 cm ...my training/fundraising team has promised to tease me mercilessly for that! I think I'll name her Tiny or somthing.

My digestive system won't let me ride right now, so first ride probably won't be till Saturday. Gotta learn how to use these gears!

(the name Bluebell comes to mind - a very small blue flower)

Shadon - what a beauty! Adding another Trek rider to list hmm Im sure there will be enough of us soon to take over the world.

Absolutely gorgeous. Did you get clipless pedals and shoes? I've been eyeing up the the Trek WSD bikes myself. They are NICE!

If we get enough of us - can we have a convention?...maybe dress up like Trek-Heads - oh wait...we already do!
