+1 Focus on your own ride! It's good to try to hit their cadence suggestions, if you can, but as far as how fast you are going, that's almost meaningless on a spin bike. I have been spinning now for 2 mos, and I still can't quite follow all of the instructor's instructions. I need to sit, pull back resistance, and recover for a little bit here and there. Just do what you can.
