I don't have the kind of phone or camera that does vid... and she's still in the learning stage.

I am so tickled about her adoption! There's a special place in my holiday thanks for Edna & Dave. You folks rock!
    no regrets!

I'm so happy for little Puffy...although I'm sad for me, I started a conversation with my SO last night about seeing if we could give her a home, my honey was very open to the discussion.

there are that many more dogs just like Puffy who need homes!! I encourage you to contact local rescues and shelters if you are getting ready to adopt a dog

We both keep saying it's too soon...but little Puffy really got to me. When it's time we'll be at the local shelter to see who picks us.

I have to give a holiday hug to Teigyr as well, because bless her heart - she's doing the transport.

If anyone lives near her please wrap her up in a huge Texas-sized hug from me!
    no regrets!

Pictures please all along the way as Puffy goes to a new home and new adventures.

Thanks to everyone who fosters and adopts rescues. I'm sure Knott's coworker and her DH will find a doggie who picks them.

Well, Puffy should arrive into the arms of Edna & Dave today. She's had a great adventure, I'm sure, driving up with the kind folks who graciously offered to transport her.

I kinda miss the little fur-ball. My house was uncomfortably quiet and I had a bad case of the "pet-lonesomes" since she left. But my time with a new dog buddy will come...

I know I'm not quite ready - I called Puffy "Quid" twice the day she was leaving on her journey... and let me tell you, Puffy in no way resembles the Quid-ster.

Hope everyone has a tail-wagging New Year!

    new family member

Here's a new family photo we just took a little while ago. Then one of her in DH's recliner. And then a shot of the lap she needs to try to fit into (sharing with Spook and Hairball) Not only a new family member (Buffy - but DH thinks she might need a new name) but we had to play with the new camera to see how the timer worked. :-)
Thanks go to Spazzdog for enabling this "adoption", and to her landlady's Christmas company who were nice enough to drive Buffy to Portland. Retired DH now has someone to keep him out of trouble during the day, while I'm at work. So far, she seems to be a woman's dog, but I'm sure she'll have DH wrapped around her little paw in no time :-)

I am so happy she is with you!

She had a teenage girl as an owner, with younger sister and mom. There was a brother & dad too so she's been around fellas.

I don't have alot of guys in my life, so her 2 weeks with me were mostly just she & I. She did warm up to my landladys BF so no worries. Especially since her days will be spent with your DH.

Hope you enjoy her! Puffy is a sweet little girl... and a new name might just work. I used to call her "Punky" 'cause her little girl used to scissor cut her hair in bad flea season. She looked like a little punk rocker afterwards
