What a long and arduous process this has been! I can feel your frustration. Try to learn something new to pass the time more quickly. What about taking a bike maintenance class?

It's been 7 weeks since I was on a bike, and from what I gather from my PT this morning, it's going to be another 4-6 weeks before I can even think about it.
The good part is that I've been wanting to buy the Lake winter cycling shoes for years, and I can put it off another year - since it will be a lot warmer by the time I can ride. Save some money for the short term though they will only cost more next year I guess.
The bad part is that I bought a new bike this summer, and just had the handlebars swapped out on it - and I have no idea how they will work out. The bike is on vacation at the bike shop waiting for me to pick it up. I went in there to visit the other day just to make sure nobody sold it. LOL.

Sorry for your setback. It is getting cold out, relatively speaking. Sounds like a good time to set up the trainer. The wrenching class sounds cool! I used to hang out at my old mountain bike store, bring them a pizza and they will fix anything. I wound up changing tires and stuff, it was a blast! Feel better soon!
