Karen - They are a family-own/operated business. We've had great service from them and of course, it goes without saying that the milk is great. In the fall, they had "mocha" flavored whole milk, which my coffee-loving husband enjoyed. We go through a half gallon of chocolate whole milk and one of skim milk a week.

Because during the early-mid 70s my mother "cut" our milk with powdered milk (which she always didn't mix in well--clumps, gross) to save money, I really appreciate good milk. Not even Nestles quick, which was a "treat" for special times, could made the stuff palatable. Uggh, thinking about it still makes me have that involuntary gag reaction.

Gawd, I remember that awful stuff. My mom did the same thing, and it was such a treat to go to my cousin's or my grandma's house and drink the real thing. (Back when I drank milk.)

Huh. We only had reconstituted powdered milk. No "cutting" anything. I wonder if I'd be so allergic to milk if I hadn't been exposed to whatever powdering does to the proteins...
