Just wondering what you like/dislike about the Tarmac. I'm also curious what size you're riding...I'm 5'4" and plan to order a 49cm.

i have the '09 expert. mine is a 52". i LOVE it! it is my first real road bike, so the only thing i really have to compare it to would be my sirrus. which was painfully slow in the hilly city i live in, and heavy! the tarmac is great! super fast bike, it feels like it does half the work for you. it weighs around 16 lbs, so, it is nice and light. it has a tapered steer tube for nice stiff steering. a nice big fat bottom bracket area and chain stays. you can adapt some of the newer ones to bb30. i ride with the speed play light action pedals and love that as well. i would say the only thing to dislike about it would be the price! you get a lot for your money as specialized bikes usually come with better component groups for the price as compared to other big names like trek or european brands. hope this helps! good luck, and get a TARMAC!

I have an '09 Pro SL. It's awesome. Great for racing, but I also have no problems doing long training rides on it. It is very responsive. Climbs (and descends) very well. The reach is longer than on my Roubaix, but for any out of the saddle time, I prefer it.

    I'm 5'7" and ride a 54cm. I could go with a 52, but I like the longer reach (I also use a 110mm stem).

The only thing I don't like is that I get toe overlap which isn't a problem on the Roubaix. I just have to be careful with slow, tight U-turns. Most of the time, it isn't an issue.

I'm getting a 2010 PRO SL Dura-Ace... as soon as I get the guts to order it, LOL!! I'm getting it at good deal through a specialized rep...

I can't wait!! I'm riding a Giant OCR-C3 now and hoping my new bike will be even more awesome!! At my ripe old age of 47yo, I'm going to dip my hands into some racing this summer... we'll see how that goes!!
