I just did around 25 miles. I almost took a header carrying my bike down the porch stairs, when I noticed they were icy as I was in mid-step. My hesitation while I was about to put my foot down made it worse than if I had just stepped. That could have been ugly.

I saw no other riders until almost the end, when I was passed by a guy on a road bike. I thought that was done for the season! I hardly ever get passed in winter, when all the weather wimps are on their trainers inside. Not that I'm not a weather wimp. I just like the cold more than I like my trainer.
