My commuter needs a name. My daughter wants to name it "Olaf" but I think it is a "she". She's been my companion now since August. Any suggestions?

With all those reflectors on the spokes I'd call her "Sparkle"!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

what about sparkle sally ? he he he... I like the ride, Sally, ride name... She's a nice looking bike. I dunno... Olaf is a pretty awesome bike name. Is there a female version of Olaf? Perhaps Olauffa? *grin*

    You could call her Olive.
And give her a paint job. Or not.
    I've heard of blue olives...
I can do five more miles.

Another friend has suggested "Gypsy". Leaning towards that. Although I do like Sparkle. Or maybe Sparklin' Sally.

Oh, I think she/he looks like an Olaf! Very Swedish colours. Olava (Ou-LAV-ah) is a feminine version, if you like.

There's a Norwegian singer called Ingrid Olava:

azure or azura, saphphire, felicity (synonym for heavean since she's sky blue/yellow), serenety, lumina (from luminous).... Check out thesaurus.com and type in words you think of when you look at her.

it's awesome way to find names, if you add an -a to the end of many words you come up with some great ones!

I've settled on "Trip". Seems to be a good fit.
