New pavement is finally laid on the 2 steepest hills I regularly climb. Oh so nice . I rode out this morning to see, and was greeted with blacktop as smooth as silk. The streets used to be so rutted that the descents were scary, and I lost a lot of climbing-energy navigating the potholes back up. If the paving crew was still there, they might have gotten kissed .
