Raw fruits and vegetables aren't necessarily the best thing for everyone, especially as the weather gets colder. Some people do very well with raw produce, others not so much. It's possible you might find it easier to put more vegetables into your diet if you stop trying to eat them raw?
That's interesting. I hadn't heard that raw isn't always ideal before. In fact, it's kind of been drilled into me, and I do have digestion issues with some raw foods. Still, I though I was supposed to be eating them, so I'd plan around it.

    This may change my life.

B: four inches of French bread, sliced in half lengthwise with butter and black raspberry jelly.
L: an apple and a frappucino.
S: a few slices of salami
D: Two bowls of turkey soup and some more of the bread.
Dessert: either black raspberry chip ice cream or a triangle of baklava. Haven't decided yet.

(breakfast) 2 scrambled egg whites and 1/2 cup cottage cheese
    (snack) non-fat yogurt
    (lunch) turkey/spinach/bean soup (yummy)
    (snack) more non-fat yogurt
(dinner) chicken breast, broccoli, salad, apple
    Protein shake after working out

They have me on a very strict diet so it doesn't change much outside of replacing poultry with fish.

Reviving this. I like the accountability.

B: bowl of cereal with 1% milk.
L: homemade chicken fried rice. (For the...4th? 5th? time this week. I hate cooking for only me)
S: piece of peppermint bark and a handful of chocolate bunny grahams.
    D: Chicken tacos from Qdoba.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Today, while not "normal" eating, at least was not yet another feast-like celebration, that I've had off and on since Christmas. Due holidays, then going away in Leavenworth, WA where we had some real quality German restaurant meals (about 2 restaurants out of handful, are excellent), a niece visiting us, etc.

B: oatmeal with abit of milk, 1 orange
Snack: biscotti and coffee (thank goodness, then I didn't eat nor drink anything for next 5 hrs. since I biked somewhere else to an event and there were lineups for food at museum cafe.)
    Finished 38 kms. of cycling.
Snack: 1 banana and 2 c. of tea with milk. 3 slices of small saffron baguette. (Delicious.)
Supper: red Thai rice, stir fried cauliflower, pepper with onions, ginger. 2 cups of tea. Handful of raisins.

Oh yea, my birthday is coming up, then Chinese New Year's which falls on Valentine's Day. More reasons to celebrate and eat.

B: Bowl of cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats, with almonds) with 1% milk
S: A pina colada smoothie from the smoothie place by the grocery store.
L: a small bowl of fried rice. (I can see the bottom of the container! It's a miracle!)
D: Two chicken drumsticks, seasoned and baked, with barbecue sauce. A small pile of spaghetti tossed with salt, pepper and a little bit of butter. Steamed broccoli.
S: Chai with milk and sugar for the evening tea and Skype call with BF, and a 2-pack of Reese's cups. I think this means I need protein.

The good news is that I got the meat cooked for the whole week.
