Aw, that stinks. Hope you find it.

I'm so lucky to have my DH... he has a finder's heart. Any time I lose something like that, he can find it right away!

Oh, that sucks. Especially if you didn't have a back-up of the music on it. If you do need to buy a new one I can recommend the Zen Stone Plus for riding - small, lightweight, hard to destroy and cheap enough that losing it isn't too bad.

No luck- another 20 minutes search, with extra help from a very sweet older gentleman who was walking on the pedestrian trail next to the road.

It was very mysterious disappearing act.
The DH is renowned for his finding abilities, but alas, they failed him this time.

Fortunately, I have cds and/or all the music on my computer, and we have a 2nd Ipod so I'm covered. I mistakenly thought it would be better to put the small one right into a pocket instead of strapping the big one onto my arm.

In the desert? Remote area? Aliens grabbed it.

How about borrowing a metal detector?

Mystery solved.. DH returned to the scene and found it hiding in plain sight in the middle of the road.. but- unfortunately- completely squashed.

    Oh well...

Well that is good news/bad news. That is great though that he found it for you. One of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to find something. That's a bummer that it was smashed.

Oh no! I'm glad it was found, but not at the state it was found in.
