I managed to get a license plate

WOW! I'm so glad that you weren't hit!! I'm sure the other motorist will be thankful for your ability to get the plate number. Congradulations on being safe and being resourceful enough to get useful info

    Good job LPH.

Do you think the martial arts training is part of that - being able to keep your head?

Good job, LPH! You're a crime fighting commuter!
What a creep- hit and runs always make me cranky. Own up to your mistakes (and then to almost hit you, too- sheesh!).

Glad you got the partial plate and hopefully they'll come to the house for a little "visit." (insert evil laugh here)

Thank you ladies!! Few things bug me more than people chickening out like that. He didn't even know if they were hurt!

OakLeaf, I think you may have me mixed up with some other martial arts chicky here. Either that or you have really terrific memory - I did do a little karate but that was 22 years ago, and I can't remember mentioning it here . But maybe I did, my memory isn't too hot.

Actually, in spite of plenty of rescue training, first-aid courses and live rescue scenarios - I really suck at keeping a cool head when it's needed. I'm very analytical left to my own devices, but hand me just a little stress and I do the dumbest things. If I'm involved in a big accident, I'm the one that somebody in charge will set to moving rocks from A to B, just to keep me out of trouble.

That's why I'm so stoked at for ONCE getting that licence plate!!

Yay! I know just how hard it is to manage to get a license plate # in a situation like that. Way to go.
