    7rider, you are right, her name is Trixie. I can't believe I didn't mention her name in my post.

    I know, what a strange mix. I really wonder where the ears come from too. I guess, she would need to have the long haired dachshund to get that long hair.

    My dog has ears somewhat like that--silky, although he's mostly border collie. Trixie is beautiful!

    This is Yuki.......my 6 year old Maltese. His name means snow in Japanese.

    No. Actually the picture is hyperlinked to a photosharing site. There are other pictures there, and the picture she posted has the label "Trixie," which I took to mean the dog's name.
