    Long Eared Owl

I was biking in Central Park yesterday when I got a text that a Long Eared Owl was around. I was lucky enough to watch this majestic bird for a couple of hours until he flew at dusk. I also discovered that I can bike really, really, really fast after dark in Central Park.

Here are photographs of the owl from a really superb photographer (scroll down a bit for the owl):

    Gorgeous, Pam!

Glad you got out, uh, promptly.

I have loved and been loved;I have been given much and I have given something in return...Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and an adventure."
