I get it. I don't "do" Farmville, but my son does, and it annoys me because from the outside it looks like a really dumb game
if you'll forgive my saying so. But I shouldn't talk, because I was the one with a massive Suduko addiction a few years back, I've sat up all night playing Tomb Raider because I just couldn't stop, and I can get hooked trying to figure out how some puzzle works just because I can't let it go. I'll play scrabble or Carcassonne and be much happier if I can fill all the gaps rather than win.
I think my son and I have the same mildly addictive personality. Which is probably why his silly addictions irritate me, come to think of it.
