No rain. Yay! It was definitely one of those days where I was taking a risk but it paid off. It was a pretty nice ride home except for a few wind gusts that almost blew me and the bike over. I spent quite a bit of time before and after dinner cleaning off the bike. There was a ton of wet pieces of leaves everywhere! Yuck.

    Update on the back-breaking pancakes

Actually, what really happened is, I started the next 2 pancakes and dashed into the laundry room to put the laundry in the dryer, and reached into the washing machine and...OW. In other words, I'm just getting old! That, and I was really motivated that morning to exercise and clean house, and probably overdid it.

Biking has been great the past few days. I think the endorphins are actually better than ibuprofen, at least for pain relief if not inflammation, but the inflammation is gone, it's just a dull ache and my back tires very easily.

So, it wasn't really the pancakes, it was the laundry. I tell ya, housework will get you every time!
I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

just another reason to hate housework... not that I needed another.
Glad getting back on the bike feels good. Endorphins are the best painkiller ever!!!

On tonight's commute, someone threw an Oreo at me. If you gotta have something thrown at you, that's the best thing. I'm not sure if it was meant to hit me (it didn't), or if it was a just a little kid playing, or if someone just thought I looked like I needed a cookie (I did ). Anyway, I resisted the temptation to pick it up off the ground and eat it.

    Fun rides both ways!

An oreo! That's funny. You're right, it's much better than the alternatives! ha ha.

I had a good commute. I was seriously not wanting to go today because it was POURING but I did. And got wet. And was damp for a good part of the day because I forgot to put my dry clothes in another bag. And I ran out of deodorants so used dh's and it didn't work well so I think I was a little smelly. But oh well. I went! lol

I had a good one this morning. Very cold, but nice. The frost on everything is pretty. I wasn't feeling too well, though, and by noon had the chills and aches something fierce. I finished up the pile on my desk and had hubby take me and the bike home about 3:00 (about 3 hours later than I would have liked). Got into bed with a heating pad and shivered for another 45 minutes or so, then slept the rest of the afternoon. I don't know if I'm going in at all tomorrow.
