I think you may be right, Crankin'. I ride a lot in your area, too. The only time I get yelled at by motorists is when I'm taking the whole lane, for what they deem to be too long. I'm doing it to keep myself safe, down the Milldam, approaching Monument Square, or through Concord Academy, but I think they consider it rude behavior. In fact, one last week uttered, "Youah noaht a cah, ya know," as she got around me. Grrr. I can be a bit of a hair-trigger at times like those, but I'm happy to report that I managed to keep my mouth shut for a change that time. Phew.
