Not used for any holiday card, but here's DH and me at the 2008 Seagull Century on MD's Eastern Shore.
It's a rare bike picture where DH is smiling. Usually, he's got this "oh-so-verrrry-serious-biker" look.

Mimi, thought you might have posted a pic with DH wearing his tuxedo cycling jersey. But then, not sure if you have a wedding gown cycling jersey.

So far, dearie and I don't have any matching jerseys or cycling jackets. We just have real first names that when you say hi to each of us, greeting+name becomes a real word.

After all these years together, we haven't yet sent a Christmas card of ourselves in bike gear. And never thought of the Photoshop solution that Bleeckerstgirl used.

That's us at La Croix de Fer in France. Not the toughest of bike rides, but a gorgeous one.

My favorite pic of the two of us used to be at Crater Lake, taken on Oregon Bicycle Ride in 2004, but then Anniebikes got a real good one of us on her kickoff day of her Women Tours Northwest tour she rode this summer. It's now my favorite pic :-)

Have to say those happily decorated recumbents, lend an other worldly, fun touch.
    Love all these happy photos.

And Grog, that Iron Cross, what is the significance of the area? Is that an old cross?

This was at my cousin's house in Santa Cruz last year at Thanksgiving. We had fun showing off the bike, but the funniest part of the trip was getting up early for a ride, getting all kitted out, and noticing only as I was climbing onto the stoker seat that there were no cleats on my new shoes. So we hung out drinking coffee until a bike shop opened.

Not 100% sure but I think it's nothing more than a "trail marker." The road where the Croix-de-Fer (Iron Cross) pass is located used to be a smugglers' trail. I could not find info on how old the cross is...
