    Yummy question

I am lucky enough to live in Fort Collins, home to many a brewer. I like beer. I don't drink much, but beer is it when I do drink.

    Summer: Modelo in a can.
    Winter: Odell's Cutthroat Porter

    And:
Odell's Isolation Ale and 90 Shilling

I don't drink alot of New Belgium beers, but I love any NBB in a can! (Sunshine or Fat Tire.)

I thought I would revive this because I have become quite the beer fan. I have discovered I really like dark beers, still don't like IPA. The other night I had an amazing dark, (512) Brewing's Pecan Porter. I also discovered Live Oak Brewing which is only available on tap in Texas, but if you are hear and have a chance they make a nice brown ale.

Last spring the mountain bike series was sponsored by Oskar Blues, I became quite a fan of Old Chub. I think it is a Scottish style beer.

I've developed a love of beers also.

I've tried a variety, but find the beer I return to because I love it the most is Sierra Nevada Kellerweis.

As far as root beer - nothing beats a Sprechers.

Mmm, you gals are making me thirsty for a good beer, and all I have in the fridge is Corona and Miller Lite!

I like Blue Moon w/an orange slice, Hefeweisen, and most beers/ales that have a fruit flavor. The raspberry beer papaver posted looks delicious! Recently had a microbrew pumpkin ale (don't remember the brand) at a bar that was delicious. Last year we bought some blueberry ale around Christmas that was very enjoyable. It was downright purple, and whenever I had it, I felt like I was getting plenty of anti-oxidants! Think I'll try to find something interesting to drink once we get down to the beach (for Christmas w/my family) again this year - leaving tomorrow!

Emily, you would probably like Shiner Cheer although I am unsure how far out of Texas they sell it. My husband and I can both taste the peaches in it. We don't like fruity beers but a lot of people we know love that one. I like how with beer and wine you can agree to disagree on tastes. My husband and I will notice completely different things in a beer, I will taste coffee and he will say chocolate. I will notice cinnamon, he will notice a fruit. Kind of fun.

    La Fin Du Monde.
It's made in Quebec and is, ah, quite powerful. It is hard to find in the US, but most liquor stores will order it for you, if they don't have it.
I also like Blue Moon and most Heffeweizen beers.
    Mexican beer, too.

Mmmm, peaches! I'm sure I'd love it, but I've never seen that brand here in NC. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can find when I hit the grocery tomorrow. I'll definitely get something different/interesting/holiday-ish.

The hubby and I have been brewing our own beer. We just did a pumpkin ale that was amazing and a chocolate cherry stout.

As for other beers, I just had an Ommegang Adoration and Captain Lawrence Nor'Easter. Yummy!
