TriGirl: the legs were, uh, *fairly* free. But the entire costume race was a bit... slow. Cheating the course was encouraged and much obliged to get out of some of the technical sections.
I felt bad for the guys with those gigantic pink croc heads tho. Zero peripheral vision!

On another message board (not cycling related), a poster told of going to a Halloween party as Swine Floozie! Short skirt, low-cut blouse, outrageous blond Dolly Parton wig, etc and so on, and pig ears and snout.The most unusual costume I saw so far was a woman dressed up as the swine flu.
