you probably say "whoop-de-doo"

/digression: I've never considered the length of Albright's skirts, but I do hear or read sometimes that women over x years (30, 40, I dunno) "shouldn't" wear short skirts, meaning skirts over the knee. Which always sounded strange to me, because I don't consider that length particularly short. Besides my legs look great now at 40 and I want to show them off.

BUT: I have noticed some of my co-workers wearing skirts quite a bit shorter than that with a split in the back, meaning that when they walk their legs are literally exposed almost all the way up to, well, their butt. It makes my eyes pop, and no doubt it does that of my male co-workers as well. To me this is a bit inappropriate for work no matter whether you're 20 or 40.

I just never thought I'd be the one saying or thinking something like that. I guess I am getting old.
