She's a busy girl. And getting funny in her 'old' age. Like she won't potty in the rain. She gives me this look like I'm torturing her and I actually have to lock her outside for a few minutes or she won't do it. But go for a walk in the rain... heck yeah!

That's so cute. "she's MINE!" he he

Does anyone take their dogs with them on the bike? I take Nanook for short runs and it's great. I can walk her for three hours and she'll still have energy but 10-20 mins running by the bike and she's burnt out lol

    biking and the dog

used to ride slowly through the neighborhood for about amile to exercise Miss Sadie my welsh corgie, but then she got sick with pancreatitis, now if she even sees me in exercise clothes or biking gear she runs and hides under the bed.

This is Mitchell the wondermutt, when he was about 2 (he's about 12 now):

and when he was a eeny weeny puppy

I don't have any digital photos of Katie the wondermutt, our gorgeous Rottie who passed away last year. I'll see if I can dig some up and scan them.

    This is Cooper.
One of two Jack Russells in our family.
Agatha (no photo)will be 14 years of age on the 15th. Cooper is 4 1/2 years old.
We also have an out-door cat. Bo is 4 3/4 years old. Our youngest son is dangerously allergic to cats but we live in the country and Bo keeps the mice at bay. He has a heated dog house and a favorite shelf in the shed. He is very spoiled for an out-door cat.

This is a photo of Cooper in Jacksonville, FL, at a rowing regatta. He is on a bridge watching the boats. He found it quite fascinating though he did not recognize his big human brother, Drew, when he rowed by.
Cooper was not daunted by the height. He would stand on the ledge with all fours and look over. Once we turned our backs and he walked out on a skinny little bump-out that held a light pole! Exposure on three sides!

Cooper loves to chase tennis balls, catch Frisbees and cool off in the pool.
Agatha doesn't do much anymore but in her day she was fond of tennis balls and rope toys. She had springs for legs and loved to jump, grab and dangle from a rope toy for hours.
JR's do not have an "off" button. You have to hide the toy while they're not looking to get them to stop.

Bo is too sophisticated to play. Well, he does play with Cooper but only if he doesn't think we are watching.
