It's that time of year again when my nose turns into a faucet

I really love fall. I love the cooler weather, the beautiful fall leaves, etc. It's a great time of year to ride. But here is one thing that I do not love...cool weather riding turns my nose into a faucet! It runs CONSTANTLY!

I am seriously considering bungee cording a box of Kleenex to my handlebars. Luckily I have almost perfected my snot rocketing skills and I'm really quite good at it. But it's totally GROSS!!! I can't believe I don't end up dehydrated from all the snot pouring out of my nose.

I know others have this problem too. My heart goes out to you.

My eyes tear terribly from the cold air while riding which then causes my nose to run. I really wish the tearing would stop. I've got fairly protective sunglasses but not goggles. Maybe I should invest in a pair of goggles and see if that will keep the cold air out of my eyes and stop the tearing.
