It's that time of year again when my nose turns into a faucet

If you cover your nose with a Buff or something would it help? Taking an antihistamine beforehand? OB tampon that's custom fitted sans the string.

I've tried covering with a Buff or neck gaiter. Works okay for a short while, until I start to get too hot and need to pull it down. I've also tried taking Claritin (the liquigel caps) before riding...doesn't do a darn thing for me.
