If the group would like to pick something from Archie McPhees I'd be honored to go buy it (within reason - keep it to something around $20 or less) and begin the passing around train!

how about a pair of these http://www.mcphee.com/shop/products/Handerpants.html#a
or something like this could be fun http://www.mcphee.com/shop/products/...Bottle.html#at (everyone who gets it could put a note inside - there's a bacon one too if bananas don't thrill you)
They of course do the standard rubber chicken and are the home of the Devil Ducky too.
A punching nun puppet is only $9.50

Thx for this wierd place...looks like a neat-o place to cycle by whenever we puff up and down the hills of Seattle.

We could always exchange bacon bandages: http://www.mcphee.com/shop/products/Bacon-Bandages.html
Whatever we get it should be waterproof, very light, compact..

I'd participate *IF* my leg could be during the brief non-cold season here. I'm in Vermont, within reasonable long-ride distance of Canada or New York state.

I'll volunteer too for later when the warmer weather hits here again. Perhaps a link up with the New Englanders can be arranged. Being in Niagara County New York I could get it over the border to Canada, or bring it over to the US side. Could take some pics with the Falls as a backdrop!

I'm sure "it" would like to visit some Canadian soil- I would be delighted to meet someone at the border...and hope we don't have any cranky border guards......

    it

Breaking news...insert dot dot dash dash sound..

The IT(plus a little bike) has left the store & is now at a crazycanuck's home. I'll to introduce " Maidei" & her way cool bike tomorrow with some pics.

For now though i'll tell you a bit more. Maidei was handmade in Zimbabwe by mothers with disabled children (www.batsirania.co.zw) & her bike from Madagascar. I (maidei) have a twin sister, Monica but she's in Zimbabwe with a child whose family member has HIV/AIDS.

I look forward to my world travels (the lady at the Oxfam shop loved the idea ).
