    It has been to long!

For those of you who know me I am sorry I have been away for so long. We have been working a lot. Which in these day and times is a good thing.
Life has been pretty good. We just finished our last job on Thursday but have other sculptor's working another job for us which just ended as well. we are now on our winter break!
I have some sad news to report as well. Both my niece's on either side of our family have been battling deseases one incurable. Emily ( she was 21) lost her fight with Huntington's desease. In a way she passed before things got really bad and we are grateful she didn't have to suffer the really bad side of it. But to loose someone so young is not easy. Her parents in the last few years really did everything they could to make her life so wonderful. I take a lot of comfort in that. But the hardest thing for us is we were on a job we could not get away from. But we have had nice long talk's with my husbands sister and our bother in law and they are ok.
On the brighter side our little lorelei is doing pretty good. She had a bout with the h1n1 about a week ago that really scared a few of us. But they got her in the hospital just in time and she is doing great and was out within a few days!
Even though thing's don't sound great here things are really pretty good. I am happy to be home. My kitties are happy we are home too! I will post picture's or at least a link to my fb page as soon as I get my rear in gear. Going to yoga this morning then hopefully bake on my bike tomorrow! Happy fall everyone!
Blessed are the flexible, for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Good to see you are back, Brandi!

I am very sorry to hear about your niece Emily. Of all the diseases to fight out there, Huntington is the last one I'd take on. What a horrible disease.

On the other hand, yay for Lorelei! I love that name, too.

Looking forward to some new adventure tales from you.

I am very sorry for your loss. When I read your earlier post about how much to donate to a fund for your niece my heart just sank. It is so sad as she was so very young. I happy to hear that of the support she was provided.

Yeah for Lorelei, it nice to hear she is doing well. She is one strong little girl.

Glad you're back, Brandi. I'm so terribly sorry about losing your niece. How tragic.
I am glad, however, to hear that Lorelei is doing better. Bitter and sweet news.

Glad you're back around. We missed you.

Welcome back, Brandi. Huntington's is in my family (both sides!), and it is a tragic disease. I'm so sorry to hear about Emily; she was so young, even for Huntington's. How are her parents? That must be so hard for them for so many reasons.

Lorelei's news seems good. Enjoy your break from work.

Thanks all for the warm wishes!. It is very good to be home. I seem to be sleeping a lot!
Emily's parents are doing ok. As good as they can be at this point. They have a lot of support. And plan on staying with helping to find a cure for Huntington's. Which is great. My sister in law will do well with that and it will keep her busy. And sence she is doing it in Emily's memeroy I am sure she will give it her all.
