OK... on you wheel weld... if you don't get the answer you want from the lbs owner, you might try contacting someone at the manufacturer directly. I did that once for a wheel weld. And they did replace it. Good Luck.

p.s. I think you outta just show off the bruises... maybe people outta get the idea 'whoa... hard core, better not mess with her'... but some peeps just don't have any filter between their brains and their mouths... can be most irritating after a while.
