I tried a 7.3, a 7.5, and a 7.6. It's amazing the difference in the feel of the ride between those three. I'm now in loveI think I've actually settled on the 7.6, the extra dampening effect of that insert in the back makes a huge difference, especially for the bumpy rocky road I'll be riding on. Now I've just gotta come up with the money! Luckily my LBS does a 12 month no payment plan (I want to have at least half up front), they do a standard $75-$100 discount off MSRP, and give a year of free service. They spent quite a bit of time with me fitting without the promise of a sale, so I definitely want to go through them.
I'm so glad I stumbled across TE, I've been reading a lot of the older threads, I've learned so much!
I noticed a difference between the 7.2 and 7.3 FX, so can only imagine how nice a 7.6 rides and handles. (I didn't dare go there when I was looking a few weeks ago. <LOL>) They are very popular bikes among those who have them. I'm sure you will be happy and enjoy many miles with it. (What size did you end up getting?) Oh...and we will need pix when you get it.![]()
Is it the white one?

It's not the white one, it's a dark navy blue (which I'm not thrilled about- I liked the white better), and I'm excited, I can't wait to bring her home!
