We're in fashion: leggings

I wear black leggings (either capri or full length depending on the season) almost every day. I think I look great in them, and they are super versatile and comfy. I'm 55.

You just don't see them as often down here, because it's hotter (not this year, though). I own some and would love to wear them, but I don't have the appropriate overthings to wear just yet. Little girls wear them all the time. Leggings were a great way for little girls to wear their dresses one more year, back in the day, as I remember it.
