It looks like a great event. I was just reading about it today (got the email about it today since I did the Anaconda Adventure Race on the Gold Coast and that got me onto the RapidAscent mailing list).

I signed Ian up for the 100k & me for the 50k . I have heard about the HILLS...but it's all cool because of the amazing singletrack near Forrest

We're going to drive over(done it before..) & do some singletrack hunting whilst in the area

There's an MTB marathon event in Qld i'd like to do (name escapes me atm..) plus the Angry Doctor, The highland Fling in NSW...but it'll have to wait til 2011..We don't mind driving around Australia just not two or three times in a year!

How was the Anaconda??? I have to admit i usually stay far far away from the Anaconda adventure races as they're way way way too big/popular for me.

I'll stick with the event I did on the weekend (Collie Adventure race)-much smaller

We're back home after experiencing trails in Vic & SA...ooooo...The Otway was soooo cool but HARD!!! The hills were amazing but the awesome singletrack made up for it!

Aussie ladies..put this one on your list!!!
