Saturday the 10th was Salisbury University's annual Seagull Century on the eastern shore of Maryland. This ride is pancake flat, which made my aching back very happy. And, true to form, it rained. And was windy.
But...the temps were mild, and neither the rain nor the wind was really that bad. So, 7,000 of my closest strangers and I headed out on a circular route from Salisbury to Assateague Island (land of the famous wild ponies, of which we saw three checking us out warily). DH rode with the fast train. I took the moderately fast train, which finished about 40 minutes slower than them. It was a great ride (although the vendors in the gym this year were awful).

And was windy.
