    Roscoe Holcomb--a banjo player??

OneRepublic has a nice mellow sound, but maybe too mellow for cycling. We have John Mayer and he has a nice sound.

Knot, your video--LOL! It made me want to get up and dance. Very good beat and makes your foot tap.

Foo Fighters--a little too much intensity. Great music to get going in the morning though, especially on a rainy day.

Mika does put a smile on my face.....but it's still not what we're looking for.

Looking for something that makes you want to bang your head, but not in the sense of heavy metal if you get my drift.

I think of him more as an amazing singer. He's...how should I say...an acquired taste.

I like to work out to:

    Disturbed
    Godsmack
    Breaking Benjamin
    Three Days Grace

    And similar.

A bit removed from classic rock (much closer to metal) But it definitely makes you want to hammer (well, at least it makes me want to). Lots of energy, lots of drums, but if you can't handle screaming not for you (they do however scream on pitch).

How about Clutch or Kings of Leon? I like to run to things like Rancid, Sublime, umm and now my mind is blank.

    What gets me going lately:

-Queen's Greatest Hits (3 CD set) - includes some remakes on the third desk, some tributes. Check out hyped up version of Under Pressure with David Bowie. So many songs: Fat Bottomed Girls, Bicycle Race, Radio Gaga, We Will Rock You, We are the Champions, Bohemian Rhapsody, Hammer to Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Killer Queen, Someone to Love, etc. Ready Freddie!
Get on your bikes and ride!

Maybe your subconscience wants to run away from it.
