One more question, if using a wired computer, does it make it a bit more awkward when the bike has suspension forks, or it still possible?

Nothing is ever straightforward is it?

    So, pretty please, opinions?

    Cheers.

Never tried it, but with a front wheel sensor it looks like a guaranteed way to break the wire.

If you have cadence, then the wheel sensor goes on the rear wheel as well, and would be okay as long as it's a hardtail.
